Live Music at the ZOO Bar
Tijuana Gigolos will be performing from 6:00pm - 9:00pm. Cost: $6
Hector Anchondo and Los Villanos will be performing from 09:30 PM - 01:00 AM. Cost:$5
Burrito Eating Contest at Qdoba
The contest will kick off at 5:00pm when 40 contestants will race to finish a signature Qdoba Mexican Grill burrito. The winner of the fastest recorded time will receive the grand prize, free burritos for a year. Second place will take home tickets to the NU vs. Texas baseball game. Contestants will be required to completely finish and swallow the burrito to end timing. It is at that time the finished contestant is required to raise their hands to signal they’re finished. Spectators will have an opportunity to get in the action and win prizes by voting each round for the contestant they believe will win the round. Qdoba Mexican Grill and Wireless Zone have teamed up to provide fun prizes for the spectators and contestants. The burrito-eating contest will take place on the Qdoba Mexican Grill roof-top patio, Downtown Lincoln at 12th and P. Interested candidates should sign-up quickly to secure a spot at QdobaNebraska.com/Cinco. Entries will be accepted through Wednesday, May 4 unless entry spots remain. 10pm-2am / 21+ / No Cover. Cinco de Mayo celebration, featuring Beatz3 and Tyed’up on the decks. Free chips and salsa while it lasts. Specials Include: $2.75 Coronas & $3.00 Margaritaville Tequila Shots.
