For those gingerbread house enthusiasts out there Licorice International is hosting the perfect event.  Licorice International will host a gingerbread house contest December 6th through the 17th.  Participants must register by the 27th of November.

Prizes will be awarded to those participants who receive first through third places and a “People’s Choice” will also be awarded.  Prizes include gift cards to Licorice International.  There is no registration fee, but participants must purchase at least three different types of candy from Licorice International. 

The rules are simple, everything except for the base of the house must be edible.  Entries cannot be larger than 10 inches deep and 15 inches wide.  The height of the houses is limited to 13 inches.  Creativity and craftsmanship will be judged.  Entries must be personally delivered to Licorice International by December 6th.  The winners will be announced on December 7th and entries may be picked up any time after that.
