Summer is here, and the Haymarket Theatre and the TADA Theatre, both in their 10th season, are putting on some exciting shows! Here’s a quick look at what both theaters are doing this summer:
The Wondrous Web of Aunt Nance And Unc’ Tommy
Directors Daniel Kubert and Dustin Witte will be guiding students in creating an original piece of work based on the oral tradition of folk tales and storytelling from around the world. Through the use of text, movement and music students will discover new ways to breathe life into familiar stories. Enrollment has closed. 
Performance dates are:
June 23 at 7:00 pm
June 24 at 2:00 and 7:00 pm
June 25 at 2:00 and 7:00 pm
Tickets: $8 for students/seniors, $10 general admission

The Fortunate Son
A WILD MUSICAL COMEDY!! Gentle young Cecil inherits the ranch after returning home from boarding school… STUPIDITY ENSUES! Join us for this hilarious musical send-up of melodramas.

Monty Python’s SPAMALOT
Our 10th Annual Big Summer Musical is…wait for it…that’s right, MONTY PYTHON’S SPAMALOT! The Haymarket Theatre founder, Fred Stuart, returns from New York this summer to direct the Broadway blockbuster in its fi¬rst ever production with a cast of young actors! MONTY PYTHON’S SPAMALOT is the hilarious story of the motion picture MONTY PYTHON and the HOLY GRAIL, re-told as a big, bright and beautiful Broadway show! King Arthur, the Lady of the Lake and her Laker Girls, The Knights Who Say Ni!, Brave Sir Robin, Coconuts, and a Knight who will not stop ¬fighting—even after the loss of every limb, are all on hand as the Nebraska Youth Theatre takes on SPAMALOT! A brilliant score and riotously funny script won this amazing show the 2005 Tony Award for…Best Musical! You’ll have the time of your life laughing, acting, singing and dancing, all while making a ton of new friends! And best of all, you’ll get to perform in SPAMALOT for six big performances on The Haymarket Theatre stage! The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee
Tada was one of the first theatres in the region to be granted the rights to this hilarious show and you voted for its return as part of TADA’s 10 year anniversary celebration. This Tony Award-winning musical tells the comical, yet heartwarming story of a group of six anxiety-ridden overachieving adolescents vying for the spelling bee championships of a lifetime. Praised by the New York Times as “irresistible and entirely lovable,” The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee is a show that will have crowds pleased they attended (and possibly even competed in) this year’s tournament.
