Lincoln citizens will be asked to vote this May on a proposal that will create the Lincoln Haymarket Arena. Without the approval of voters, Mayor Beutler has said that project will not happen. Updowntowners and the Downtown Lincoln Association invite you to hear the latest information about the project and how you can support it at a luncheon in the beautiful Lincoln Station.
Project supporter Dick Campbell will share simple things you can do to help support the arena question and discuss the language that will make its way to the ballot next spring. He’ll also provide an overview of the financial picture and an easy 10-second way to share your knowledge with others. Even if you’ve been to an arena forum before, this is a luncheon you won’t want to miss!
If you have questions for Dick, please feel free to email them to (JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address) in advance. Dick will address as many questions as time will allow.
Please register and pre-pay for the luncheon by January 15th at 5 p.m.
