Looking for a place to catch the World Cup?  Well as usual the downtown area will not disappoint.  The Bricktop  at 14th & O will host a kick-off party on Friday and Saturday and Captain Jacks in the Haymarket will host all day events at Captain Jacks and an outdoor location near 8th and T Street.

The Bricktop located at 1427 O Street will host an event beginning at 4 p.m.  Four different DJ’s will help make the evening even more eventful.  There is no cover for guest over the age of 21. Guests between the ages of 19 and 20 will play a $5 cover.  Happy hour specials will be featured until 10 p.m. 

Captain Jacks, located at 140 North 12th Street, will be open at 9:00 a.m. with soccer coverage throughout the day and evening.  There will also be an outdoor event at 8th and T street located in the parking lot just north of the Post Office and near the Saltdogs Stadium bridge.  The outdoor event will begin at 10 a.m. and alcoholic beverages will be available at 11:00 a.m. 

There is no cover and no age limit, however the event is suggested for adults.  Specials for the event will include $3 16 oz. draws at the outdoor event and drink specials when the US scores.  Either location is sure to please with a great atmosphere to enjoy soccer.
