Past Dates & Times

Barry's Bar and Grill - 235 N. 9th St.

Galentine’s day was the idea of Leslie Knope, a fictional character on the popular show “Parks and Recreation”. While the show and character are fictional, the message and purpose behind Galentine’s Day is not.

This event is by women and for women. It’s a time for all the beautiful ladies you know to come together and celebrate each other. To share laughs, encourage each other and create memories to last a lifetime.

Traditionally, Galentine’s Day is a brunch with all your best gals, but we have added our own spin to Galentine’s....a fundraiser!

This year we are supporting The Friendship Home, which is a local organization that helps women in our community in numerous ways. They offer services to help women & children escaping domestic violence situations and help them re-establish their lives to move forward with a newfound support system.

To raise money for the charity we will be doing a raffle. Each raffle ticket will be $5 and the more purchased will up the chances of winning a prize! Proceeds from the raffle will be directly donated to The Friendship Home.

We will have a table set up for Love Letters. At this station, guests will have the opportunity to make a valentine for their best friend, mom, sister, cousin, boss or any woman in the community! We will send them in the mail!

Light bites and various desserts will be provided! There is a cash bar for guests to purchase drinks!

Please join us to support, empower and uplift amazing women in our community! Grab your gals, and come party with us!
